Physiotherapy is a health care profession aimed at evaluating, restoring and maintaining physical function. Physiotherapists are trained to assess and improve movement and function, while relieving pain to resume a habitual lifestyle and normal activities during sport, work or at home. Each treatment focuses on individual needs and uses a progressive approach to help you attain your full rehabilitative potential.

Our diverse and highly trained group of Physiotherapists deal with a broad spectrum of patients ranging from athletes, back pain victims, motor vehicle accident victims, work related accident victims, chronic pain injuries, pre and post-natal care, overuse and traumatic injuries. The following approaches are commonly used to treat various injuries:

  • Manual therapy techniques
  • Global postural correction
  • Myofascial/soft tissue release
  • Cervical & lumbar traction equipment
  • Therapeutic modalities (heat, cold, ultrasound, Acupuncture IFC, light therapy)
  • Education and Exercise prescription

Physiotherapy can be the first choice for every ache, muscle tightness or unwanted symptom. Repetitive strain in an individual’s daily life can have many causes: poor posture, inappropriate footwear, poor flexibility and lack of activity, to name a few.

We are approved to receive/treat workers injured in the workplace. The physiotherapist works closely with the Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation Commission in order to return employees to work safely and efficiently.

For your convenience, we are open from 7:30am – 10:00pm to suit your availability as well as emergency treatment wherever possible. Physiotherapy treatments are covered by most health insurance companies.
